Monday night we walked down to the Albatross Bar with Ted and Pennie. We had not been to this beach bar and were quite impressed. We talked about our past histories and drank a drink or two and then walked over for dinner at Esmeralda's.Ted and Pennie are from the Okanogan in Canada but they now live on Vancouver Island. Ted was a farmer turned contractor and Pennie worked in the school system with special populations. These two people are the salt of the earth, very kind and fun to talk to. We had a great night and enjoyed their company immensely.
